Bachelor's Degree

Final Year Project Degree Fashion Show with the theme of Cultural Diversity and Inclusivity. Fashion shows that celebrate cultural diversity and promote inclusivity have gained prominence. I drew inspiration from various cultures, traditions, and identities.

2019 - 2020

Internship at the Batik Kapten (M) Sdn Bhd

Gained experience in visiting manufacturers or trade shows to get fabric samples, learnt how to select, embellishments, colors or style for each garment and accessory. I worked with the team to create a prototype design. Had the experience in presenting the design deas to the creative director and showcased them in fashion and trade show.

2020-2021

Retail Sales

Gained insights into consumer preferences and market trends. Managing the online presence of fashion brands and engaging with audiences.

2021-2023

Assistant Designer at Whimsigirl

Worked closely with more experienced designers too assist in various aspects of design process. Created sketches and illustrations of design concepts based on the guidance of the design team and assist in translating ideas into visual representations. Worked with the design team in selecting appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials for each collection. Coordinated with suppliers and assist in sourcing materials that align with the design vision.
